Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for supervisors, technicians and semi skilled workers
• check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations;
• ensure all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
• oversee the selection and requisition of materials and plant;
• liaise with any supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project, if necessary and under the sight of the In charge person.
• day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force;
• plan the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines in the level of work package;
• oversee quality control, health and safety matters on site;
• prepare daily progress reports;
• resolve any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise
• Maintain the tools and equipments at site including their safety at installation.
